Are you feeling overwhelmed about your upcoming board exams? You’re not alone. Every year, students worldwide feel anxious and stressed about their upcoming tests. However, you can reduce your stress and perform at your best with a bit of organization and preparation. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  1. Make a study schedule: One of the best ways to prepare for an exam is to create a study schedule and stick to it. Break down your studying into manageable chunks, and make sure to include time for breaks as well. It will help keep you focused and on track.
  2. Get organized: A disorganized desk equals a cluttered mind! Make sure everything has its place so that everything is easily accessed when it comes time to study. This includes having separate notebooks for different subjects as well as colour-coding flashcards or highlighting essential points in textbooks.
  3. Take practice tests: In addition to studying subject matter-specific material, it’s also important to take practice tests so that you can become comfortable with the format of the exam questions themselves. Many test prep books include full-length practice exams, which can be really helpful in gauging where you need more focus.
  4. Practice relaxation techniques: It can be challenging to concentrate on anything else when stress starts taking over. That’s why it’s essential to have some relaxation techniques up your sleeves, such as deep breathing exercises or yoga poses that promote calmness. These practices can help clear your mind before bedtime or during stressful moments throughout the day. And, don’t forget about self-care during this time! Eat healthy foods (and avoid junk food), exercise regularly (even something as simple as taking walks outdoors can help), drink plenty of water… Do whatever it takes to maintain balance in your life, both mentally & physically, so that stress doesn’t take over completely.
